
Loud, outgoing, friendly, and confident, Kerrie describes herself as a box of chocolates and you truly never know what you’re going to get. She is passionate about change and loves to grow. Bring on the excitement because Kerrie wants you to know she is ready to roll.
She served her country for 12 years in the U.S. Army with two tours to Iraq under her belt. She has lived through the time of “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell”; however, she always managed to keep her head high and overcome all obstacles . Upon retiring from the army, Kerrie went to school to become a medical assistant where she was featured in a commercial for Remington College due to her outgoing personality. Kerrie is currently works in the medical field which she thoroughly enjoys; but she is also taking classes to become a Social Worker for women and LGBTQ+ veterans at the Michael E DeBakey VA Hospital. Kerrie’s goal is to improve the quality of life for the most marginalized and vulnerable members of society.
When Kerrie is not working, she enjoys running after her twins and volunteering for her oldest son’s booster club at Dobie High School. However, make no mistakes about it, Kerrie still enjoys her adult time. It doesn’t matter what it is as long as there is laughter, food, drinks, and memories involved. With her excellent time management skills, Kerrie is ready to take the world by storm.
