Pride Houston understands there is much concern, and that we all have a responsibility to help slow the spread of  Covid-19 in our city.  Therefore, all in-person pride events for the year, including the Celebration and Parade, are cancelled. We must take the best course of action for the city we love, and the LGBTQ+ community. At this time, that means staying apart. Please stay tuned for news and updates about upcoming virtual events.

Stay home. Stay safe. Stay hopeful! We can get through anything as a community if we take care of each other now.

Johnatan Jimenez

Johnatan came to the United States from his country, Acapulco, Mexico, at the age of 19. He would go on to graduate from college in Houston, TX. Johnatan formerly worked for the Igloo Products Corp as an engineer assistant in the quality department. Currently, he has his own business and spends some of his free time volunteering for Pride Houston. He also loves working out at the gym and jogging in the city parks.

When Johnatan first attended the Pride Houston Celebration back in 2011, he felt so special and realized he was not alone. He noticed that there were more people like him enjoying their life. Since then, he has been proud of himself and enjoys every single second of his gay life.
