The butterfly soars! As a self-proclaimed social butterfly, Jasmine moved to Houston, TX on a whim and a dream in August 2018. She craves good times with good people. If she’s not cutting up on the dance floor, she is jet setting, tree hugging or enjoying festivals of all kinds. Jasmine is the co-owner of Jazzy J Productions created in 2015 and hosts several events in Baton Rouge, LA.
She loves Golden Girls’ reruns and can quote each episode. She gleefully states that she is going to Betty White’s funeral (but she hopes that doesn’t happen for many more years from now). She is quite passionate about others coming out of their shell and having a great time at any event she hosts.
Jasmine’s first Pride experience was Pensacola Pride in 2011. She attended with her cousins that had been the previous year. Being on the beach with the entire spectrum of LGBTQIA+ was such a memorable experience that she has kept her going back every year since. Jasmine remembers everyone being so friendly and full of life. She made true friends that day and hopes to make many more with Pride Houston.
