Pride Houston and COVID-19 Safety Preparedness     >>

Pride Houston understands there is much concern, and that we all have a responsibility to help slow the spread of  Covid-19 in our city.  Therefore, all in-person pride events for the year, including the Celebration and Parade, are cancelled. We must take the best course of action for the city we love, and the LGBTQ+ community. At this time, that means staying apart. Please stay tuned for news and updates about upcoming virtual events.

Stay home. Stay safe. Stay hopeful! We can get through anything as a community if we take care of each other now.

Dustin Sheffield

Dustin grew up in small town Alvin and was active in 4-H and FFA as a kid. His goal with Pride Houston is to see the organization break down walls into communities such as the agriculture industry.  He has been with Pride Houston for 10 seasons and has served on a handful of committees. He currently serves as an Advisor to the Board of Directors. He attended U of H (Go COOGS!) and has a Bachelor’s in Accounting. For his day job, he is a Rental Coordinator for a construction equipment dealership.  He also volunteers with Rodeo Houston and a handful of other agriculture organizations that are both state and nationally based. When he has any spare time, you will find him in the show barns working with his livestock or helping 4-H and FFA kids with their projects.
