Kick off the 2019 Houston LGBT Pride Celebration® and get ready for the #SummerOf69 at Pearl Bar Houston on Thursday, April 25 at 7:00pm!

Free to attend! Must be 21+ to drink.

Entertainer Bios:

Ian Syder-Blake is known as the drag father of Houston and has had the honor of working in many states during his six-year career. He has hosted and produced multiple shows, including the popular H-Town Kings. Ian has made it his mission to bring new entertainers into the community and continues working to build the scene for Kings of all types, both locally and across the nation.

DJ Athenz is an award-winning Billboard Reporting DJ who has worked with some of the top nation’s leading brands and artists. She has appeared at widely attended events and venues throughout the city of Houston and the U.S. Having been voted ‘Favorite Female DJ’ 4 years in a row by OUT Smart Magazine, she is very active in the LGBT community. She currently has a mix titled ‘The 10 O Clock Turntables’ featured on two Radio One stations being Houston and Indianapolis. From touring with top bands and artists to performing for USA National teams, Athenz has experience in adapting to any environment she is put in.

Dividing time between her passion for music and skill-set for saving lives, DJ Drea lives for entertainment. This Musician, Producer, DJ, and First Responder has quickly earned her way back into the music scene after taking a break from playing shows, to pursue a career as a First Responder. Stepping into Houston’s music scene in 2008, opening for numerous influential artists such as DJ Irene, Excision, and the one and only Superstar DJ Keoki, playing various shows/EDM events, DJ Drea was rewarded her spot as Houston EDMs most valuable female ‪DJ 2010‬. Being well known in Houston’s LGBT Community, after four years off from playing shows, she stepped back in with her high energy EDM/Hip-Hop sets as the resident DJ for one of Houston’s Hottest Lesbian bars, Pearl Bar Houston.‬

H-Town Kings:

Hugh Dandy, originally from St. Louis, Missouri, is a fresh face in the Houston drag scene. He got his start by cosplaying and being involved in his college-hosted drag show, where he learned to love the stage and experimenting with makeup. For 2 years, he has used his charm (and man-bun) to dance into the hearts of audiences alike. Hugh works to continue his career having fun on stage and inspiring others to do just the same.

Trystan Assault is the cosplay King of Houston and has won over audiences all over Houston and beyond! With his creativity and ability to mix cosplay and drag, he has brought many people a new perspective on the art form. An accomplished host, and member of several casts, he got his start with the Houston Gaymers non-profit group, hosting and performing in their shows.

Braxton Phresh “The Dancing King of Houston” is a drag performer from Houston Tx. Using his passion for dance, tumbling, and entertaining he is known to excite a crowd! One of the founding members of the H-Town Kings.
