Important Announcements & Updates
To our Pride Houston Family
Given the recent global events of the COVID-19 pandemic many of you have been wondering and waiting to see what 2020 has in store for Pride Houston’s Celebration and season of events. We are closely monitoring the situation and complying with all city, county, state and federal guidelines. For the time being we are more than 3 months away from our scheduled celebration and we are still committed to putting on a safe and joyous Pride event for Houston so we are moving forward as planned!
Our team meets regularly and is discussing any updates to this pandemic and how it will affect our work. Our NUMBER ONE priority is the safety and health of all of our patrons so we plan to reassess our situation in the coming weeks as we wait for new data and instruction from our elected & health officials.
All sponsorships and commitments will remain in place as is and if there are any changes made then those will be honored in accordance with those changes. We know tensions and worries are high right now, and we want the community to rest assured that we are watching the situation unfold as closely as you are.
It is important that we not lose hope, or lose our heads in this trying time, but rather keep a spirit of community and generosity about us. After assessing the situation again in a month, we will return with another announcement.
In the meantime, please reach out if you need help, otherwise, stay home if you are able. Stay safe! We thank you for your support of our event and our community and please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. We are, and will remain, open for business.
